I have an 800 MHZ computer. It was a used computer that I found here in China. I didn't spend much on it. I have it loaded with Windows XP that I got here in China. Also, I bought some programs here as well. There is so much technology here in China. Some is copied from popular brands. I have an MP3 and Canon camera. I like my camera very much. I can get 9 movies on one DVD for less than a dollar. I got one season of a TV show for less than a dollar. Sometimes it seems so insane, but here I am in China. Well, the computer buying went alright at first, but then we started experiencing problems. It didn't take long, but the problems surfaced. They will not tell you the problems with the computer, and get as much profit as they can, especially from a foriegner. I can not blame or accuse them for wanting more money, since I know they have lives to lead. I guess I just expected better care of the computers, so there was no problems. Some where just obvious, but we never noticed because we didn't use the function.

 

My MP3 and camera are fine. I have no problems with them. I use my MP3 alot for listening to Chinese files. I take my camera with me wherever I seem to go.

 

I still wonder what it would be like living a simpler life. Do I really need all these things that I have? Well, I have them now, but should I try to get rid of them? I could worry about them breaking down, but what does that get me other than a headache? I will use them till they breakdown and figure out from there. I know, your thinking, this is pointless information, lol.

I went to a few different places after work. I needed to find some programs for my computer. Well, some other things caught my eyes, which are some DVDs. I wanted to see Slither and Miami Vice, so I got in in one of those 9 movies on one DVD. Usually, I haven't bought much movies lately. First, I wanted to see these, and since it only cost 5 yuan, then I wasn't going to back down. So, I got those, and finally headed over to the another department store for the programs, because I was guaranteed the English version. I got the English versions and my wife can use the Microsoft word on my computer again. Also, I don't have to guess my way through the Chinese words to get my work done. I will go now, and see everyone later
